Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime Action Figure

First Edition of Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime Action Figure

Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime Action Figure
Hasbro has done an excellent job of coming up with a cool way for fans to own a piece of Age of Extinction early. Coinciding with the release of the first trailer, Hasbro and Amazon cleverly struck while the iron was hot and offered this special leader class preview figure. As a first edition, Hasbro has pulsed up the Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime Action Figure with chrome paint apps and rubberish tires, along with a beautiful window box complete with velcro tabs. The figure itself has been openly criticized for its simple transformation at only 15 steps, along with the lack extreme detail that made previous Leader figures a hit with collectors.

The problem is the price itself. At 60 dollars this Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime Action Figure is not cheap, however it's worth noting that you are paying for not only a little chrome paint and some rubber tires, but also for the early access by over 2 months, and the nice box. Even so, I'm still not sure it justifies the 60 dollar price tag, and I would've felt a 50 dollar price tag would've been more appropriate.

Recommended but it’s only to those who really want to get in on the action early. If that's the case then you can probably look over the flaws and have a good time with this Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime Action Figure, but try not to build up expectations to an unreasonable level.
