General Zod Action Figure

General Zod Action Figure with Battle Armor

General Zod Action Figure
This is General Zod Action Figure, and it's AMAZING. In fact, it's probably the best figure in the entire line.

Let's start with Zod's head sculpture. It's much better than the other one, which only marginally looked like Shannon. This one is not just the same head sculpture with a goatee added; it's an entirely different one, more detailed and more accurate.

The cape is also really cool. It's not just the same as Superman's but in a different color. It's a completely different one which shows tears and a better pose. Also, unlike the one in Superman's figure, this one doesn't hinder Zod's ability to stand. I don't know if it's because it's lighter, because the rest of the figure is bulkier or both, but you will not have problems making this figure stand.

The best part of
General Zod Action Figure, though, is the armor. It's incredibly detailed and perfectly true to the one in the movie. The paint job on it makes it look like brushed metal, which is really cool. And you can see the Superman-style meshed suit underneath it (the same suit he has in the other figures). They really didn't skimp on details. If there's one small gripe I have about the armor is that it hinders the figure's articulation in some parts. It's not a big deal, and it's most likely true for the actual Zod, but it diminishes the figure's posing possibilities.

The
General Zod Action Figure comes, like the previous ones, with a standing base, which is not necessary for this one since the cape actually helps the figure to easily stand. And it also includes a cool-looking semi-transparent helmet, like the one in the film. The helmet is really detailed and, just like with the rest of the armor, you can appreciate the H. R. Geiger influence on its design. The helmet applies to the head very easily and it won't fall off.

So, in short, this is a fantastic
General Zod Action Figure that everyone should have, even if you don't care for Superman or Man of Steel, this figure shouldn't be out of your collection, because it will look great everywhere.

Superman Man of Steel Action Figure

Superman Man of Steel Movie Masters Action Figure

Superman Man of Steel Action Figure
The Superman Man of Steel action figure is, by and large, a very good figure. The first thing you will notice is how heavy it is. The whole figure is cast in a very durable rubber like plastic that should stand up to play. The paint application is done very well, with not a hint of bleeding or slop anywhere, and the overall mold is nicely detailed and rich in texture. Please take note that the cape is not cloth, but rather a sizeable, molded, piece of plastic. The cape is flexible, but not in any way pose able. The figure is pretty much the same size as the Dark Knight and Green Lantern Movie Master figures, and would fit nicely in with that line. It's nicely proportioned and not overly muscle bound like other Superman action figures.

As far as articulation goes? The head is on a ball joint but does not tilt up far enough so as to be put into a flying pose. The shoulders are ball jointed as well, with a mid-bicep swivel and single joint elbow. Both wrists rotate but lack up and down articulation. The is a swivel joint at the waist, and the hips are the type of joint anyone who collected DC Universe or other Movie Masters should be familiar with - meaning it's a peg joint which offers up and down rotation, but they have a flange which provides the legs to be swung out wide. There is a mid-level thigh swivel joint and both ankles can go up and down.

This is a wonderful Superman Man of Steel action figure and looks like the actor who played Superman in the movie "Man of Steel". The figure has great articulation and comes with a display stand with Superman's "S" chest emblem on it. This would be great for a comic book or action figure collector or it would make a good action figure toy for a child (over 3 yrs. old) to play with. I recommend this product.
